My name is Mia von Doom (if that’s too goofy to say, just call me @Mia - everyone else does!). I am a writer, consultant, teacher, graphic artist, copywriter, professional brainstormer, digital brand strategist, and social media expert. I specialize in listening to what you want, and delivering what you need.

Who am I?

I’ve worked for companies like Hootsuite (holla!) and large, multi-national online companies, and I’ve also helped numerous mom-and-pop type operations within the north Dallas and southern California areas.

I don’t believe in flowery “Open yourself to the universe, and the universe will open itself to you!” bullshit, so you won’t see that on any of my sites. If I can see it and touch it, then I can conquer it and kill it. I believe in giving people concrete steps in order to achieve success.

Something More Personal

Let’s see – I was an early adopter of Twitter, and an early abandoner of Myspace. That’s probably not what you thought I meant when I said “personal”, though. Uh… uh… okay, got it! I currently split my time between Dallas and Los Angeles, and I cuddle up with some crazy animals at night. See?

I’m pretty damn addicted to Game of Thrones and I’m on Season 4 of rewatching The Sopranos. I absolutely adore Dita von Teese and tend to wrinkle up my nose at anything with the last name of Kardashian. I’m also – and not that this will mean anything to you, I’m sure – a six-year veteron over at ONTD.

Life’s ambitions

Well, to be quite honest, I’d love to live back home in downtown Dallas and own a lounge, as well as a day spa. I know, that all sounds really abstract in terms of what I’m doing now – they totally don’t go together. But one day, they definitely will. =)
